Georgian Console / Card Table



Splendid Georgian mahogany demi lune console / card table, with exceptional golden colour and good patina. Figured folding top with kingwood crossbanding and inset satinwood panel. Crossbanded frieze with chequerboard ebony and boxwood stringing. The square tapered legs topped with inlaid oval marquetry panels and with fine boxwood stringing to the fronts.

An unusual and most useful feature of this table is the removable swing leg, which supports the baize lined playing surface, taking it from console table to card table.
