Regency occasional table



Superb Regency height adjustable occasional table, constructed from various exotic timbers. A fine and unique piece: the table has a partridge wood tilting top, inlaid with cross grain palm wood - an rare timber with an exceptionally unique 'polka dot' figure when cut across the grain. The finely executed column below is constructed from padouk, and features a brass collar housing the original mechanism that allows the height to be adjusted. Raised on outswept reeded legs, with turned patera mouldings and pretty ball feet.
