Antique longcase clock

Early 19th century mahogany longcase clock by William Lancaster of Plymouth Dock. Arched hood with brass finials and fluted pillars. The silvered dial engraved with a mythical bird and the Latin ‘Tempus Fugit’. There is an inner seconds ring with quarter hours markings and a calender aperture below. The trunk with flame veneered locking door and raised on a plinth base.
