19th century burr walnut vanity box. Ebony banded exterior with inset brass shield engraved ‘Dec 18th 1876’. The velvet lined interior with a fine assortment of cut glass and silver plated jars together with various tools with mother of pearl handles. A button in the interior releases a further shallow drawer.
