Antique chess table

William IV mahogany chess table. Rosewood and satinwood inlaid chequerboard top, with a single drawer below and raised on a tapering octagonal column, which features an unusual locking compartment. Raised on a quadform base with a foliate carved collar and attractive scrolled feet.
