Antique stool

Exceptionally fine 19th century Chippendale style mahogany stool. Stuff over seat, upholstered in Colefax & Fowler ‘Stratford’, over a serpentine frieze with foliate carving. Raised on finely executed cabriole legs with plumes and scrolling acanthus leaves, terminating in ball & claw feet.
