Antique writing slope

Fine quality early 19th century brass bound mahogany writing box. With inset brass handles, strapwork and name plate, engraved with 'James North, Hull'. The interior fitted with baize lined writing slope, pen trays and compartments for ink wells. A concealed drawer to the side is opened when a brass pin is lifted. There is also a further compartment behind the writing slope.
