Antique Ottoman

19th century mahogany ottoman / work box. Stuff over seat, upholstered in a Colefax and Fowler plaid. The hinged seat opens to reveal the original fitted interior, with tooled leather needle storage to the underside of the seat. Concave, figured mahogany frieze, raised on flattened bun feet.
