Buying an item

We accept payment by cheque, debit, credit card or via online transfer. Where you would like time to consider a purchase we are able to hold the item reserved for up to twenty four hours. When you wish to go ahead with a purchase, we require the full payment at the time of sale.
Shipping / Deliveries
We have our own van and carry out most local deliveries ourselves. For deliveries outside the local area, and to Europe, we use a firm of specialist antique carriers. The item is fully insured to your door. Delivery charge is negotiated at the time of sale. If using a delivery company of your own choice, please ensure that they are experienced at moving antique furniture and are covered by insurance.
For international deliveries outside Europe we can advise on international shipping companies for quotation. Please note that any additional local taxes and surcharges applied when the item arrives at its destination are payable by the customer.
When receiving the goods please satisfy yourself that you are happy with the purchase. In the unfortunate event that you are dissatisfied then we are happy to offer a full refund, excluding the cost of delivery to and from your home. If delivery has not been itemised at the time of sale - please check with us for a quote. Please let us know within 24 hours of receiving the piece, if you wish to return it.
