Antique Military chest

Lovely quality teak campaign chest, with wonderful old patina. Two short drawers over three long with inset brass handles, raised on turned feet. Carry handles to the sides. Labelled ‘S W Silver & Co’.

S.W. Silver & Company were a British firm, opened in the 18th Century as Colonial and Army agents, clothiers and outfitters principally to those in the Army and Colonial Service, as well as acting as shipping agents for such people travelling overseas.
